About the Virginia APEX Accelerator Program
The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP), authorized by Congress in 1985, provides matching funds through state and local governments and nonprofit organizations to establish Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs), now known as APEX Accelerators. These programs provide free and low-cost assistance to businesses pursuing federal, state, and local government contracting opportunities.
Virginia APEX Accelerator, administered by George Mason University, delivers expert guidance through counseling, training, and resources to help businesses compete in the government marketplace.
