DUNS Number Transition to UEI
DUNS was replaced by the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) for SAM.gov in April 2022: https://sam.gov/content/duns-uei
You can still apply to obtain a DUNS number for other purposes, but it is no longer required for contracting with the federal government.
